I’m Vanda McCauley, owner and lead stylist at Vanda Salon. As a licensed Cosmetologist and Certified Non-Surgical Hair Replacement Specialist, I welcome new opportunities to help men, women, and children look and feel their best with innovative hair replacement solutions offered in a caring and professional boutique environment. We are passionate about bringing our clients the very best and most practical hair and cosmetic services that address the needs of their minds, bodies, and spirits. This includes natural hair care, hair extensions and non-surgical hair replacement, cutting, coloring, straightening, texturing, and thermal work. In every way, enhancing your life is a labor of love for us.
My professional background includes 20 years of hair care industry experience, with 15 as a salon owner. Measuring and fitting people for hair loss systems and units is one of my specialties along with formulating all-natural scalp care and hair growth serums. Advanced certifications in Medical Related Hair Replacement and Cranial Prosthesis Design allow me to work with dermatologists and oncologists to provide truly customized care to my clients.
Among my proudest moments is recognition from the American Cancer Society for my participation in the Look Good Feel Better program. I'm a Business Advisor for the NorCal Small Business Development and a member of both the American Hair Loss Council, the Professional Beauty Association, and the Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce. To stay active within the local community, Vanda Salon regularly supports athletic and academic programs, as well as walk-a-thons, churches, and community events.
In addition to my industry accreditations, I hold a master’s degree in Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on HR Management. When I’m not working, I love going to concerts, traveling, and hosting my family and friends at home.

At Vanda Salon we challenge ourselves to keep remembering what makes us great – the people and communities where we live and work. Through the loyalty and support of clients, Vanda Salon is able to contribute to a variety of causes each year.
Our core focus areas are community and health; Vanda Salon helps strengthen our local community by donating funds to youth leadership, athletic and academic programs. We also support organizations that have impact on people’s physical, mental and spiritual wellness through our active participation in walk-a-thons, volunteering at our local churches and community events, and through generous donations.
Our Policies
Our goal is to create a style for you that suits your hair, flatters your face and fits your lifestyle. Because of this, we recommend that new customers begin with a consultation appointment to discuss their hair and style options, identify the appropriate stylist and determine how much time is needed for the style appointment.
New customers, or customers who have not been to the salon in 6 months, must schedule a consultation before booking an appointment.
To book an appointment you must agree to our appointment cancellation policy below.
Cancellation Policy
To avoid $50 cancellation fees, appointments must be cancelled 48 hours in advance. Deposits required are non-refundable. If at least 48 hours cancellation notice is given, a deposit may be applied to another appointment or the purchase of products.
